Patients with spasticity have involuntary muscle contractions, leading to muscle stiffness, tightness, and even pain, often resulting in limited movement and reduced functionality.

Augusta Physiatry, founded by Dr. Hussain, was created with the vision of serving as a comprehensive spasticity center for residents in the CSRA. Dr. Hussain works closely with her patients to design comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to meet their specific needs. By integrating various therapeutic approaches, such as nerve and muscle injections along with occupational and physical therapy, she helps individuals overcome the challenges of living with spasticity. Dr. Hussain is excited to use her knowledge to help patients in her community. She resides in Evans, Georgia with her husband.

If you or your loved one suffers from spasticity, please contact Augusta Physiatry to schedule an appointment to discuss your treatment options.
